Income from letting the workshops and grazing land in Ditchling, together with investment income, is made available for grants to be allocated. The Trustees look for applications for interesting and innovative projects that benefit the community while closely reflecting the Foundation’s grant making objectives
- to the parish church
- for education
- for preventive cardiology
- to other charitable institutions in Ditchling or the immediate locality
The next notices for Grant Applications will go out by March 2017 and completed applications should be sent to the Secretary, by email, no later than 30th April 2017.
If you have received a grant in the previous year and are applying again, the Trustees will require an update on your project.
Completed application forms should be submitted with written evidence that they are for registered charities or that the grant sought is for charitable purposes, together with a copy of their latest annual report and accounts.
In 2017 the Trustees considered a high number of applications for a variety of local projects and was able to make grants totalling £16000 supporting a wide range of community projects. In addition the Trustees have again this year facilitated the community orchard in Boddingtons Lane, all of which fit the aims of Dr Turner when he established the Foundation and granted access to Lodge Hill.
